IN HONOR OF THE COILIE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

We established $5,000 from our annual budget to go toward just one exceptional leader with outstanding academic standing and grade point average, and a history of FFA leadership and involvement. This scholarship honors LaRae and David Coile. Mr. Coile is a retired educator who spent decades as the agriculture teacher at Lake Gibson High. He has spent years as a Council member and countless hours raising money and support for our kids.

The Lake Gibson FFA Evans Family Ranch Scholarship supports students who demonstrate leadership, dedication to agriculture, and a commitment to serving their community. The Lake Gibson FFA Evans Family Ranch Scholarship supports students who demonstrate leadership, dedication to agriculture, and a commitment to serving their community.

This $2000 scholarship can be awarded to 2 students.

We would like to recognize Mrs. Sharon Richards, who created the Willis Richards Scholarship in memory of her husband. Mr. Richards was a longtime manager at Publix. His passion was to help young men and women get a good start in life. His legacy continues on through this scholarship.

Two deserving recipients will receive $2,000 each.

Part of leading the Lake Gibson FFA Alumni & Supporters Chapter is being good stewards with the funds raised throughout the year. Through investing donations and funds wisely, the last several years, the chapter has been able to turn the interest earned into a sizeable scholarship called Interest in Your Future aimed at graduates planning to attend college or trade school.
