COILIE FAMILY

The Lake Gibson FFA Coilie Family Scholarship supports students who demonstrate leadership, dedication to agriculture, and a commitment to serving their community.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. FFA Membership

• Must be a member of the Lake Gibson FFA chapter (current or graduating senior).

 

2. Academic Standing

• A minimum GPA (often around 2.5–3.0) or higher — check local rules.

 

3. Community Service / FFA Involvement

• Demonstrated leadership in FFA, community service involvement, or agricultural activities with documented hours.

 

4. Application Materials

• Completed scholarship application form (usually provided by the guidance or FFA advisor).

• Essay or personal statement about agriculture goals, leadership, or career plans.

• Letters of recommendation (often from a teacher, FFA advisor, or community member).

 

5. Post-Secondary Plan

• Must be planning to enroll in college, vocational/trade school, or an agriculture-related program after graduation.

 

6. Submission Deadline

• Applications must be submitted by the deadline set by the school’s guidance department (check with your counselor).

EVANS FAMILY RANCH

The Lake Gibson FFA Evans Family Ranch Scholarship supports students who demonstrate leadership, dedication to agriculture, and a commitment to serving their community.
